The MFC would like to wish it's members and their families and our sponsors a happy and safe Christmas and New Year, Thankyou to everyone who gave up their time to ensure 2007 was a proactive year for the club despite all the doom and gloom that was promoted a little too readily by a little too many members. Congratulation to those who were appointed to new positions at the AGM and thanks to those who stood down after many years of service, especially Kevin 'eftpos' Polley and Gary 'whinge, mumble, groan' Turner. Conrgatulations to everybody who fished successfully at NDAA level and thanks to all who competed for the club. Congratulations to Adam Hodges who was open NDAA Champion for the year and congratulations to Burwood FC who were champion club ahead of the MFC. A 2008 calendar has been posted on this site so please make note of the NDAA dates and help us to win the trophy back. We especially need more seniors & juniors fishing. Don't forget to take the kids fishing in the holidays. See you next year.
